2 October 2019, Germersheim/Hamburg: The logistics service provider DP World Inland is strengthening its leadership team in Germany. Effective 1 October 2019, Kai Hansen (52), an expert in intermodal transport, will take up his new position as Senior Commercial Manager and further expand the sales activities for DP World in Hamburg.
Dr. Martin Neese, Managing Director of DP World Inland, says: "Our appoinment of Kai coincides nicely with our new business strategy and provides the platform for planed future growth. With Kai Hansen, we have gained an experienced specialist with deep market knowledge. Kai will be responsible for strategic leadership of the commerical team, developing go-to-market strategies for new opportinuties and providing greater support for our existing clients. We look forward to Kai’s contribution to our continued growth.“
Kai Hansen brings many years of professional experience in logistics. The trained shipping merchant worked for more than 15 years in sales for Contargo before joining Alcotrans Container Line, a company of the neska Group, in 2016. Most recently, starting in May 2018, Hansen was Managing Director of neska Schiffahrts- und Speditionskontor GmbH in Duisburg and neska Intermodal GmbH in Hamburg.
